About Me

I am Xue Tang, and I am an aspiring Software Engineer Developer studying in the MSCS-Align program at Northeastern University.

I have always been an ambitious person who likes to find better ways of solving problems. Before switching to computer science, I earned a BS and an MS in the field of Chemistry. With this scientific background, I developed a strong foundation in Math, Logic, and Critical Thinking. I worked as a graduate research and teaching assistant at The Ohio State University, where my leadership, communication, thesis-writing, and presentation skills were further improved. During my time working in a research lab, I used technology to optimize computational work and process data. While I enjoyed conducting research, I discovered my interest lies in utilizing technology to solve problems in efficient ways.

Therefore, I am seeking an internship in software development, preferably in a user-oriented way.
